I want to love the Brian Jonestown Massacre. I really do. But no matter how hard I try, I just can't. Of course, that's not how it went down, and as an album, Bravery, Repetition and Noise just doesn't cut it. The weird thing is that one of the songs is even on here twice. They could've left off the "If I Love You (New European Gold Standard Secret Babylonian Brotherhood Cinema Mix)," trimmed the fat a little, and had a damn fine release.

Also released on black vinyl. First released on CD via "Committee To Keep Music Evil" in 2001: Bravery Repetition And Noise. Recorded at The Commitee Headquarters, summer 2001.

Bravery, Repetition and Noise is a darkly dreamy album, rich in atmospheres, layered in waves of sound, moody pop for disillusioned people. The album's antecedents are clear, the gloomy post-punk Brit bands whose angst shuddered out across the airwaves in the late '70s through the early '80s.
