Gary Lucas is an accomplished and wildly eclectic guitarist who is equally skilled on electric and acoustic instruments. Lucas' body of work runs the gamut from experimental rock to international folk music, and he's collaborated with artists as diverse as Jeff Buckley and Leonard Bernstein. In 2016, Lucas released a collaborative album with singer and songwriter Jann Klose, Stereopticon, featuring ten original songs written by Lucas and Klose. The same year, Lucas brought out an album with his project Fleischerei; Music from Max Fleischer Cartoons found Lucas performing new arrangements of songs written for vintage cartoons featuring Betty Boop, Popeye the Sailor, and Koko the Clown.
