Arguably the most iconic old radio show of all time, The Adventures of Superman is one of the longest running programs in the history of American radio. This series spanned over 11 years from the time it was first syndicated as a radio show at WOR station in New York on February 12, 1940. Adapted from a DC comic book series created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superman later became one of the most popular action hero’s of the century.

This volume continues the original volume of Superman (Superman Vol. 1), by picking up at Starting in 1987, this volume continued on till 2006 when the series reverted back to being named Superman (Superman Vol. 3).
The album ends with an "extended mix" of the main title theme, which actually sounds quite a bit like something that would be on "Seinfeld". If you're a "Lois & Clark" fan, this is essential. What else can I say? A truly awesome musical score. Fans of the series will really enjoy this CD, because it takes you back to the place and time in the show where you first heard the music. It is also very relaxing to listen to. Jay Gruska did a phenominal job in creating the score for Lois & Clark.
