The Magic Garden is the second album by American pop group the 5th Dimension, released in 1967 (see 1967 in music). Considered a concept album, it tells the story of a couple's love and the end of their relationship. In more recent discussions of the album, that love affair is said to be about Jimmy Webb - who authored 10 of the album's 11 tracks - and his time with singer and then-girlfriend Susan Horton (In fact, the name Susan is referenced by name on the track ")

Up, Up and Away is the debut album by American pop group The 5th Dimension, released in 1967 (see 1967 in music). The title track was released as a single and became a major pop hit. The group's first single release on Soul City Records, "Train Keep On Moving/I'll Be Loving You Forever" was not a success, and is not included in the album. Both songs appear as bonus tracks on a later CD reissue of the album. The first single released from this album, Go Where You Wanna Go, was initially recorded by The Mamas & the Papas and appears on their first album. The 5th Dimension's version became a Top 20 hit in the US, reaching the position. The group's second release, Another Day, Another Heartache, also charted, peaking at It was their third release, the ubiquitous.

The 5th Dimension performed "Sweet Blindness" on Frank Sinatra's 1968 TV special Francis Albert Sinatra Does His Thing and sang "Workin' On a Groovy Thing" and "Wedding Bell Blues" on Woody Allen's The Woody Allen Special in 1969. They introduced "Puppet Man" and "One Less Bell To Answer" as guests in the It Takes a Thief episode "To Sing a Song of Murder" in 1970; the latter song was used as a plot device in which its closing notes were to activate a bomb in an assassination attempt of the head of a fictitious country. "Poor Side of Town" (from Up, Up and Away).

Up, Up and Away," winner of a 1967 Grammy for Song of the Year, also became the album title for discs by artists stylistically worlds apart - male vocalist Johnny Mathis, the Latin sound of Johnny Rivera, the easy listening magic of Arthur Fiedler & the Boston Pops, the gospel that the Metropolitan Male Ensemble was known for, jazz artist Sonny Criss, and, of course, the soft rock of the 5th Dimension

Stephen Carmona - The 5th Dimension. 5th Dimension - Never Gonna Be The Same. 5th Dimension - You Are The Most Important Person In Your Life.

Up and away Off to find your center To keep you warm for winter We might have lost our way Time and again I find the world I run from The one that I had come from Remind me of those days So what if I don't wake up at the same time Will I be wondering why WHatever I do. I'll always find my way Back to you Back To you I told you enough I'm never mild in season I'm not the voice of reason But I'll be good to you So where do we go Straight to second guesses I'll call you when I'm restless I want to hear your voice So what if I. don't wake up at the same time.
