John Cunningham is an LA-based songwriter and producer signed to Unrestricted. He has worked with a variety of artists, the most notable being the late XXXTENTACION. Originally from Oakland, CA, he began writing and producing music in high school, eventually taking his broad taste with him to NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. While attending Clive Davis, John gained invaluable experience as a writer/producer, garnering multiple major-label placements and two RIAA Gold Certifications while still attending class full-time.
Jon went into detail in an interview about the meaning of the album’s title, even more beyond the following quote. We’re humans, we have issues, including myself, so on this album, there’s a lot of me just kind of venting about how the fact that I’m frustrated that I’m human. For the last song, Hand of God, this annotation explains it well. Having something you believe i. s what often gives us purpose and reason to continue. on uses his outro to preach these ideals of love and happiness into our lives.
Moonchild: Songs Without Words is a 2006 album by John Zorn featuring performances by Joey Baron, Mike Patton, and Trevor Dunn (sometimes referred to as the "Moonchild Trio"). The Songs without words (Lieder ohne Worte) are a series of short lyrical piano pieces by Mendelssohn, written between 1829 and 1845 and presented in 8 volumes, each one consisting of six pieces. Most of these pieces are withing the grasp of pianist of various abilities, and this has contributed to the popularity of the set. Some other song without words were written but not collected in volumes, and only published in recent years.
