Ludwig van Beethoven's complete works seem to be more than abundantly represented on CD, and yet there are sensitive gaps in the catalog of some of the work groups - especially of high-profile recordings. Two years ago, when I talked to Dieter Klöcker about the joint future projects with the Consortium Classicum, and he proposed Beethoven's complete chamber music for wind ensemble, I did not hesitate a second: Voila, this is Vol. 1! With the septet in E flat major op.

Beethoven, Consortium Classicum, Klocker. Label : CPO Format : Flac (image + cue) Cover : Yes. Tracklist : Ludwig Van Beethoven Sextet for 2 clarinets, 2 horns & 2 bassoons in E flat major, Op. 71 Septet for strings & woodwinds in E flat major, Op. 20. Consortium Classicum, Dieter Klöcker.

Beethoven maintained several firm friendships throughout his life amongst them women, most notably, Antonie Brentano, who had a direct influence on his music. Johann Nepomuk Maelzel (1772-1838). The inventor of the metronome, Johann Nepomuk Maelzel persuaded Beethoven to write Wellington's Victory (Battle Symphony), but their friendship wasn't to last. 21. Therese Malfatti (1792-1851). Like Giulietta Guicciardi, Therese Malfatti was a pupil of Beethoven's, and - as with Giulietta - he fell in love with her and decided to propose marriage to her.

Dieter Klöcker (April 13, 1936, Wuppertal – May 21, 2011, Freiburg im Breisgau) was a German clarinetist known for rediscovering many forgotten masters of the 18th century. He had been tirelessly unearthing gems for the clarinet repertoire and has a huge discography to show for it. He was the leader of Consortium Classicum with which he also rediscovered the repertoire for Harmonie, a form of historical small wind ensemble. With them in particular he has also amassed an impressive discography.
