This song is by David Mead. You got bills and bouncing checksNothing's right and nothing's left to loseBut you got dudes. Don't know what your future holdsYou're getting tired and growing older tooBut you got dudes. You got dudes who know you betterThan you know yourselfWe'll pick you up and dust you offWhen you could use some help. So when that weight gets heavyAnd you just don't know what to doDon't you worry, no, no, no'Cause you got dudes.
Dudes is the sixth full-length album by singer-songwriter David Mead. The majority of songs that appear on the album were chosen by a group of fans who were a part of the Kickstarter campaign to fund Dudes. Of the 15 demos that fans were given to audition, 11 made the final cut; "Curled Up in the Corner" was added during recording sessions for the album in January 2011.
