The trick of From All Purity, the fifth full-length album by Chicago misanthropes Indian, is that it wields as much power from a distance as it does in close quarters. Let these six tracks rip from your stereo system of choice, take a step back, and you’ll hear a fevered, hostile trip through top-heavy doom and harsh noise. The lulled wallop of Rhetoric of No is tremendous, with thunder drums cracking against wide-sky riffs. The death metal shivers that erupt and dissipate throughout closer Disambiguation shake the frame, while the reptilian invective of founder and chief screamer Dylan.

Indian : From All Purity,альбом, рецезия, трек-лист, mp3, тексты песен. After the critical success of "Guiltless" in 2011, "From All Purity," their fifth full-length album, would be released into the light of day in 2014 to bring forth its horrifying darkness. Just like in the previous records, Indian aims to sound dark, repulsive, and destructive in its attack. For the most part, the band does succeed in this effort. The intriguing fusion between sludge, doom, and hints of black metal is carved into a compilation of songs that are slow but crushing like a pile driver.

Apparently, Indian didn’t get that memo. The Illinois quartet’s fifth album From All Purity may not sound particularly Native American, but it’s not hard to imagine that it was born of a thirst for Fire Water and retribution as the band rips through six gritty tracks with the subtlety of a tomahawk. Riding the dirtiest guitar tone this side of Thou and a terrifying performance by vocalist Dylan O’Toole, From All Purity is, for better or for worse, as relentless and overstated as modern metal gets.

The aggressiveness in this album is simply undeniable but I think they went too experimental in some of the tracks. Or consider a donation?

Indian : From All Purity. That approach yields some triumphantly nasty sounds on From All Purity, their fifth album in a series of albums that maintain both a guttural intensity and slight variations on a similarly cool/macabre cover design aesthetic. Its six songs mostly hover around the six-minute mark, working out their burly, screeching catharsis slowly and viciously, making every thunderous riff crash down with maximum impact.

With this being their fourth full-length LP, Indian certainly knows what they do best, and From All Purity is a mighty display of such. But the fact remains that this album will be very alienating to those uninitiated with this kind of music, and alienating is certainly putting it diplomatically. Those in the mood for some mammoth claustrophobic sludge will find a real treat here, but the casual listener will undoubtedly be scared off. But no matter who you are or what you listen to, Indian has proved one thing for sure on From All Clarity. They can’t be bargained with.

From All Purity (Relapse). Until recently, the prolonged absence of Eyehategod meant the field was wide open for a band constructed of nihilistic rage monsters. Enter Indian, a Chicago troop achieving a sort of hate-blackened grandeur on its fifth disc From All Purity. Leading with a nearly eight-minute track called "Rape," Indian sets an agenda of vein-throbbing acrimony and despair, a docket fulfilled by the emotional and audio violence-suffused "The Impetus Bleeds," "Disambiguation," and the hope-pulverizing "Directional.
