I bought this cd in Toronto in January 1998. It was recorded to tape for my car. Years later the cd disappeared when my car got jacked. Eventually I took my tape and ripped it to cd-r. Here it is w/ 6 dead minutes at end of mix, must've left the cd writer going until time expired. I only saw Colin perform once, at Twilo in 1998 at a party called Galaxy Project. He came from a different generation yet couldn't have been nicer when I got in his ear after he played. News of his passing last year was a bummer. I listened to this endlessly in the 90s and early 2000s - great album beautifully mixed. Couldn't find it anywhere online so thanks for posting. I was reminded of it recently when listening to Nina Kravis DJ kicks album- similar weight and mood. oilcan 6mo ago. Glad you found it, under the radar gem from bygone era.

Rewind to the post punk era of the early 80s. It's 1982 & Colin Faver gives up is job as a commercial graphic artist & is working for a record shop in Walthamstow London called Small Wonder records, who signed the first Cure & Bauhaus singles. It was then when the first wave of New Wave electronic music surfaced & Colin was mixing up electronic music at the New Romantic Institution that was the Camden Palace championing music from Kraftwerk to Afrika Bambaataa to Visage. Colin Faver is the reason I got started in this scene, allowing me to rap with him at the Camden Palace in 1984 & fully taking me under his wing, along with Eddie Richards in early 1986 as their resident House Music rapper, way before I was a DJ in late 87, when these two huge influences became my colleagues on the decks too.
