Way Back Home: Live from New York City is a live album by The Wreckers. It is their second release and it was released on December 4, 2007 by Warner Bros. The release also features a DVD capturing the live concert. This album consists mostly of live rendition of the hits which appear on their debut album, Stand Still, Look Pretty, as well as two new songs ("Damn That Radio" and "Different Truck, Same Loser") and a cover of a Michelle Branch original, "Love Me Like That"

One of many CD/DVD packages released in 2007, Way Back Home: Live from New York City could have been recorded anywhere on the Wreckers tour, but it was recorded on a stop in the Big Apple where they played through 13 songs, almost all pulled from their lone studio album, but also including three new tunes. The duo sounds good - they're clean, tight, professional, not deviating much from the recorded versions but not doing much unexpected either.

Way Back Home - lyrics. W The Wreckers Stand Still - Look Pretty. Somewhere in the country There's a place Where nobody knows your name. When I'm feeling lonely there's a train That helps me run away. I know my mother She always told me The road would get cold I never listened Always forgettin' The way back home. Somewhere in the city There's a face That makes it hard to stay. He never listened to me When I'd say That things would never change
