The Freeloaders were one of the hottest garage/psych/punk bands to come out of Melbourne (and Australia) in the '90s. Featuring members of The Philisteins from Hobart/Adelaide and God from Melbourne these guys wrote fantastic songs in four different rock genres and blew away most other bands when they played live. One former bass player, Dave Grey, now plays with Rocket Science

Half of the eight selections are new, and the rest of the CD ranges from Arthur Penn's "Smilin' Through" (the theme from the 1941 movie) to two pieces from Shorter's Joy Ryder album of 1988: "Over Shadow Hill Way" and that album's title track.
Sound Barrier is a pioneering all-black heavy metal quartet from Los Angeles, CA, whose members have also recorded and toured with acts such as Masi, Total Eclipse, Mother's Finest and Fishbone.
