Jeffrey Marshall Foxworthy (born September 6, 1958) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, television personality, radio personality and author. He is a member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, a comedy troupe which also comprises Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White. Known for his "You might be a redneck" one-liners, Foxworthy has released six major-label comedy albums. His first two albums were each certified 3 Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America
Jeff Foxworthy's wry Southern humor made him one of the most popular standup comedians of the '90s. Foxworthy grew up in Atlanta and was working for IBM when he tried standup on a dare. Before long, he'd quit his job to pursue comedy full-time. His material concentrated mainly on family situations, but it was his affectionate jabs at Southern rednecks (or the "gloriously unsophisticated") that catapulted him to stardom. In 2006, Foxworthy issued an EP of fresh material, One for the Road, while the Blue Collar team delivered a third concert video and album, Blue Collar Comedy Tour: One for the Road. In 2011, Foxworthy teamed up with Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy for a tour under the collective banner of Them Idiots; the teaming spawned another concert video and album, 2012's Them Idiots Whirled Tour.
