It was the first album to feature Coltrane playing soprano saxophone. The record became a major commercial success. In 1998, the album received the Grammy Hall of Fame award. It attained gold record status in 2018, having sold 500,000 copies.

Malta is no exception to the global vinyl fever, and multiple record stores have been popping up as a result. Anthony D’Amato Records in Valletta will provide you with an excellent album from whichever era or genre you claim to be the best- cough 70’s British Classic Rock cough. It might also provide your new album with a unique connection to history

Yet another Sabbath album in the list! The songs are incredible and the band sounds so gritty. This is the first post- Ozzy album they recorded and it marked the beginning of a new sound that for a lot of followers is not Sabbath anymore but who cares what they should sound like. This one is a gem of an album with regards to the broad heavy metal genre. Rarely has a band with a debut album such as Holy Diver, managed to come up with such a follow-up. Dio’s vocal melodies are sublime as always and come across so powerfully thanks to the epic delivery of biblical proportions that’s typical of this man. I will never get tired of listening to Vivian Campbell’s great guitar work on this one.
