Emilio Teubal was born in Madrid, Spain in 1976. At that time, his parents were in exile from the dictatorship government in Argentina. After a year in Spain, the whole family moved to Mexico City where they spent five years. Prior to this album, Emilio has released two critically aclaimed records: 'La Balteuband' (2006), and 'Un monton de notas' (2009), which journalist Brad Walseth from Jazzchicago. one of the strongest Latin jazz albums of the year and one I highly recommend for listeners looking for something ne.
