Komeda's debut album "Pop På Svenska" was released in the beginning of 1993 - a thoroughly dealt with album with lots of strings and big sounds. Two years later the EP "Plan 714 Till Komeda" came out. A new member, replacing Henrik Andersson, was guitarist Mattias Norlander, who earlier played in the rock band Blithe. Subsequently followed the longed-for second album, "The Genius Of Komeda", released in January 1996. The album was praised in Swedish media and later on in American when the album was released in the USA on the Chicago label Minty Fresh

Komeda provided the score music for the animated film Pettson och Findus – Kattonauten (2000). They have also recorded under the name Projektor 7, adding music to silent movies. In 2006, "Check It Out", a hidden track from the Kokomemedada album, was used in commercials for Old Navy.
