Karl Terkal (7 October 1919, Vienna - 12 August 1996, Vienna) was an Austrian operatic tenor, particularly associated with lyric roles of the German repertory, both opera and operetta. Terkal was working as a furniture carpenter in Vienna, while taking voice lessons with Valerie Wilhelm. He later entered the Vienna Music Academy, where he was a pupil of Hermann Gallos. He made his stage debut in Graz, as Don Ottavio, in 1950, and remained there until 1952.

Karl Terkal (7 October 1919 - 12 August 1996) was an Austrian operatic tenor, particularly associated with lyric roles of the German repertory, both opera and operetta. Born in Vienna, Terkal was working as a furniture carpenter in Vienna, while taking voice lessons with Valerie Wilhelm. Alois Pernerstorfer (3 June 1912 – 12 May 1978) was an Austrian bass-baritone. Born in Vienna, Pernerstorfer began his training in 1933 at the Wiener Musikhochschule with Theo Lierhammer and Josef Krips and made his opera debut in 1936 in Graz singing the role of Biterolf in Tannhäuser. He sang for many years at the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna Volksoper, and was a regular performer at the Salzburg Festival, where he sang in the European premiere of Samuel Barber's Vanessa.

Karl Terkal, own Trkal ( born October 7, 1919 in Vienna, † August 12, 1996 ) was an Austrian opera singers and chamber singers. He learned the art and furniture carpentry and worked until 1939 or after military service until 1949 in his profession. He took singing lessons and his first role in 1950 was Don Ottavio at the Graz city theater. Then he came in 1952 at the Vienna State Opera, where he remained for over 20 years. There he sang 221 times the host in Der Rosenkavalier
