I have been an avid fan of Sherlock Holmes in all of its forms (the text, the DVD, the CD) These audio CDs are great to take with you on long auto trips since they are most enjoyable and will make the I95 move along nicely even when it isn't. Production quality is very good and the performances fine. I recommend this collection highly.

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes was an old-time radio show that aired in the USA on NBC from 1930 to 1936. The series was adapted from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories. The premiere episode featured an adaptation of "The Adventure of the Speckled Band" on October 20, 1930 and starred William Gillette as Sherlock Holmes and Leigh Lovell as Dr Watson.
