This album is an absolute stunner. Deep, dark, dubby and above all: it sounds fantastic. Would love to see mr. Kruder release some more Peace Orchestra material. Responder Notifícame 1 Helpful.
Peace Orchestra is similar to his work in K&D, but-if possible-the music is even more serene and stoned sounding. Floaty melodies sparkle against a backdrop of gauzy reverb and echo. Vocals drift in and out of consciousness. The record contains less funk and groove than K&D's projects, but it's no less sensual. Dreamy is the operative word here. Much like Mixmaster Morris's superb downtempo ambient collection It's Tomorrow Already, Peace Orchestra combines the sounds of trance with the tempo of downbeat to invoke a lazy, hazy summer day. - -Tricia Romano.
