"COUNTRY BOY" GLEN CAMPBELL-ALL THE BEST: Possibly the most comprehensive collection of Glen Campbell hits on the market, All the Best is exactly what its title suggests. The country/pop legend/Wrecking Crew member, who played guitar on hits for Sinatra, The Beach Boys, and The Monkees among others, is represented here by twenty-five slices of country/pop nirvana. His tasty trio of Jimmy Webb smashes (Galveston, Witchita Lineman, and By the Time I Get to Phoenix), the spirited, image-rich Gentle on My Mind, chart topping saga Rhinestone Cowboy, and funky singalong Southern Nights are merely the best known efforts. A pair of sublime Bobbie Gentry duets, the staunch theme from True Grit, a medley of Don't Pull Your Love and Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye, and a cover of Neil Diamond's overlooked Sunflower are further delights that don't appear on every tribute. His pure sweet tenor and laid back demeanor had universal appeal that made Glen Campbell a true superstar in every sense of the word.RATING: FIVE HEADS OF HAIR
