This ep by slipknot was a great way to start their career. The album starts with a song called slipknot. Its a great heavy song that spawned the classic song (sic). This is the original song. Its a very catchy heavy song. Next is the song gently. It opens up with an acoustic intro. Its very melodic and great. Its considered the best song on the ep. Even hardcore slipknot fans call it better than the iowa version. After that its the funky do nothing/bitchslap. It starts with a classic paul grey bass line. Then turns into a death metal-ish like sound. Then goes right into a funky disco metal sound. Its a great song, check it out. Then after that its the classic song Only one. Its just amazing. Great headbanging song. Sounds just like the 1999 version. Its a classic. After that its the song called tattern and torn. Its just like the 1999 version just with anders at vocals. So, if you liked that song on the self titled record, then you'll like this version. Then its the song confessions. Its not very memorable because it has a very clean tone and very funky. I love that song and I think it works really well with the album. after that its some feel. Great headbanger and a great song. Then its the 10min Killers are quite. The song iowa is the same exact song. Its scary, amazing, and a great hear. No its the hidden dogfish rising. Again its good but not memorable. Once again I loved it.
