Live-Evil is an album of both live and studio recordings by American jazz musician Miles Davis. They were performed as lengthy, dense jams in the jazz-rock style, while the studio recordings were renditions of Hermeto Pascoal compositions. The album was originally released on November 17, 1971.
NTSC/Region 0. The great Miles Davis in a stellar 1988 concert, wonderfully shot at the Munich Philharmonic Hall in Germany. Miles leads seven young and brilliant musicians through eleven numbers that epitomize the best of jazz and the late development of the jazz-rock fusion that Miles Davis pioneered. One star for his music? NO WAY! One star is solely for Immortal for issuing the same concert of Miles Davis, recorded in Munich 1988, three years after it was issued by Pioneer (Miles Davis, Live in Munich, Pioneer PA-11853, 2002, 2-DVD pack). It will be no problem if Immortal DVD was a little better than the Pioneer DVD. But unfortunately it was not the case.
