Songs of Experience" redirects here. For other uses, see Songs of Experience (disambiguation). Blake's title plate (No. 29) for Songs of Experience. In 2011 Victor Vertunni released a new music album on songs of Innocence and of Experience, another stepping stone in the long tradition. The poet Allen Ginsberg believed the poems were originally intended to be sung, and that through study of the rhyme and metre of the works, a Blakean performance could be approximately replicated. The composer Victoria Poleva completed "Songs of Innocence and of Experience" in 2002, a chamber cycle on the verses by Blake for soprano, clarinet and accordion. It was first performed by the ensemble Accroche-Note of France. The Swedish composer David Unger completed "Night songs op. 24", a setting of five poems from Songs of Innocence for solo voice and piano in 2013.

Mindfulness is widely accepted and supported by philosophers, psychologists, spiritual gurus and scientists, but it is not yet present in our mainstream society. The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly. If you do not know what this is all about, then start reading Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now - a clearly written introduction to mindfulness  . This is the symbol for the idea of being here and now, which is also called mindfulness or present moment awareness.

Mindfulness is moment-to-moment awareness of one’s experience, without judgement. At the Oxford Mindfulness Centre (OMC) our mission is to reduce suffering, promote resilience and realise human potential across the lifespan through mindfulness. With his album 'Pin-Ups', Bowie paid tribute to his favourite bands of the previous decade by covering their songs. Released three years later, 'Wild Is The Wind' – formerly recorded by Johnny Mathis and Nina Simone – would have stuck out like Ziggy at a funeral on that LP. In Bowie's hands, the winsome, delicate track twists like a snake around a branch.

No matter how you feel about him, David Guetta is hugely responsible for dance music crossing over into the American mainstream. It's kind of a classic among old-school Guetta fans, definitely tells you how not serious people were about their house music back in 2002. It was a time when anything was game, even listing off food items over a killer beat. Honestly, it's a dope tune, and certainly one that, once you've heard it, you'll never forget. Nicki Minaj has two collabs with Guetta on this album, this era being the peak of her pop crossover momentum. It's a simple composition centered around bright synth chords with heavy emphasis on the vocals. The hook is undeniable.
