David played around Ohio for over a decade before spending nearly six years spreading "the gospel according to Karl" in Japan. A powerful yet gentle singer/songwriter, he's been banging out bluesy/punky/trippy garage music on piano and electric/acoustic guitar for years. A foot stompin' screamer and a quiet balladeer, he played solo shows regularly in Japan; and played drums for a Japanese 60s garagepunk band (Mondo Diamond), a cover band(Inu), and he also appeared as the drummer for AMPOP Record's Mark Brodie on his surf album "Espionage Garage. Sharper and quieter, this album consists of spacey acoustic pop and ballads, more spooky piano, and another dose of East meets West.
